Pride Honor Spirit • The Plattsmouth Alumni Association is established to preserve the past for today’s kids to know how and why they got where they are today. • The Plattsmouth Alumni Association is established to construct a database of names and addresses of all PHS graduates, to assist individual classes with their reunion planning. • The Plattsmouth Alumni Association is established to keep graduates informed about what is happening in the Plattsmouth schools today and provide interesting news about Plattsmouth graduates from the past. • The Plattsmouth Alumni Association is established to organize an annual All School Celebration. Service Through generous contributions and membership dues, the Alumni Association has been able to give scholarships to new PHS graduates. The Association contributes to school programs such as HAPPY CAMP and Post Prom. The Association mails at least three newsletters per year to the more than 5500 graduates in the database. Everyone is encouraged to attend the Association meetings held the first Tuesday of every even numbered month at 7:00 p.m. at the School District Administration Office. Celebrations The graduates of PHS do know how to celebrate! The Plattsmouth Alumni Association began when 200 graduates and guests came together on May 27, 2000 for the first annual Alumni Celebration. Thus began the new traditions: • The Annual Plattsmouth Alumni Association All School Celebration takes place in the evening, on the Saturday of Memorial Weekend every May. • The Annual Plattsmouth Alumni Association Karnival Luncheon takes place at noon on the Saturday of the Kass Kounty King Korn Karnival each September. Decorate your table in your own party theme. Don’t miss this fun event! • The All School Celebration is the evening the Plattsmouth Hall of Fame inducts its new members. This program is organized by an independent board of directors. Nomination forms are distributed through the Alumni newsletter. Hall of Fame Honors Alumni

Congrats to '76 classmates Randy Nielsen & Dr. Tad Freeburg who were among the first group of alumni to be inducted into the Plattsmouth High Hall of Fame during ceremonies May 26, 2001!

New members of the Hall of Fame will be honored at the All-School Banquet, May 27, 2006.

Do you know any classmates who are outstanding? Please consider nominating them for the Plattsmouth High Hall of Fame.
Nominees must meet one or more of the following criteria:
1. A Nebraska High School State Champion in any NSAA sponsored individual sport.
2. A graduate who excelled at the college, university, professional or Olympic level.
3. A graduate who has made a noted impact on their chose field/profession or upon society.

In order to be eligible, a period of 15 years shall have elapsed from graduation to induction.

Nominations should include name and address of nominee and details outlining achievements, including dates, events, performances, placings, school attended and year graduate, activities, honors, professional/community awards & honors, contributions to society or their profession.
